$16 / $14 Hyde Members, LGMF Pass Holders and Host Families
Join us for a unique collaborative event celebrating art, film, and music. This special afternoon features a screening of the acclaimed film Georgia O’Keeffe: The Brightness of Light, followed by an audio presentation of the very first commission from the Lake George Music Festival back in 2013—Brendan Faegre’s powerful work of the same title.
As part of this presentation, we are delighted to offer a live video-conference conversation with:
- Ellen Casey Wagner and Paul Wagner, filmmakers of The Brightness of Light
- Brendan Faegre, composer of the 2013 commissioned piece The Brightness of Light
They will share insights into their creative processes, discuss the origins of both works, and reflect on how film and music can illuminate one another.
Whether you are a longtime supporter of the Festival and the Hyde, a Hyde Collection visitor, or simply curious about interdisciplinary art, this is an event you won’t want to miss.
Proceeds will benefit both the Hyde Collection and Lake George Music Festival.
