An exhibition organized by the Frick Pittsburgh and hosted by The Hyde Collection featuring approximately fifty paintings, works on paper, metalwork, ceramics, and intricate decorative objects with Scandinavian origin from the years 1880 to 1920. This is the first exhibition to examine the entangled notions of home and homeland that were central to the art and material culture of Denmark, Norway, Sweden, and Finland in the second half of the nineteenth century.
